What are gender based classrooms?
Gender based classrooms are classrooms in which all girls or all boys are enrolled;
they are designed to meet the unique educational and developmental needs of all students as defined by gender.

What are the benefits of an all boys classroom?
*Books and curricular materials that excite boys can be integrated into all aspects of the school's program
*An environment free of cross gender distractions in which boys need not waste energy posturing
*A setting in which boys develop strong bonds of friendship and camaraderie with peers and teachers

*Create opportunities for appropriate educational risk taking
*Ensure that learning takes center stage with social life reserved for time outside the classroom
*Teacher instructional methodology designed specifically for the uniqueness of female students
