IAAS School Dress Code for Kindergarten - 8th grade students:

IAAS dress code is established, in an effort to eliminate the social and emotional
distresses of keeping up with the latest fashions; we would rather our students focus
on academics.  Students are expected to follow the IAAS Dress Code each school day.
A child’s clothing at school should be such that it does not detract from the
learning environment.  Enclosed shoes must be worn at all times for safety and health purposes.

Hats, scarves, and bandanas will not be worn anytime in the school building, on the bus, or
during after-school and evening activities. Extreme hair coloring and styles or face paint is not
allowed, and makeup and nail polish ust be used in moderation.  IAAS administration
reserves the right to determine if attire is within the school dress code’s guidelines.

IAAS Uniform shirts with the Imagine Schools logo must be purchased from our Business Administrator
Ms. Byrd in the Business Office, which is located on the main level next to the main office Monday - Friday

wear shorts or skirts of inappropriate length, the specific guidelines will be followed.
Students are expected to follow all dress code guidelines while on IAAS premises
(entering school, existing school and while waiting for ride). Additional dress code
information may be found by clicking on the 2008-2009 IAAS
Parent Handbook below.

*The IAAS Administration has final authority in determining if a student’s clothing is
within the guidelines of the IAAS Dress Code.

* If at any point families require assistance in the acquisition of clothing meeting
the IAAS dress code, they are encouraged to contact the principal.  All kindergarten

On behalf of the Imagine Academy of Academic Success Team and Board, we would
like to extend warm greetings to you.  We understand that because communication between
school and home is essential to the success of students, we have created, The Imagine
Academy of Academic Success Student/Parent Handbook and School/Parent/Student
Compact to be of assistance to you and your child in understanding how Imagine Academy
of Academic Success (IAAS) functions and how we can effectively
communicate with each other throughtout the year.

Elementary and Middle school are a thrilling, but testing time for students and families.
During this time of rapid developmental change, we want to encourage students to
uniquely take responsibility for their learning and to critically analyze academic information.  We want
to create a safe and positive environment where students can try new things without fear.
Parents/Guardians, you know your child best, we solicit your partnership to bring out the best
in your child.

We ask each family to return a signed copy of our School/Parent/Student Compact.  Each child
will receive a School/Parent/Student Compactat at the start of each new school year; however,
you may feel free to print one in advance from the link below.  Please click the link below to view
our most recent parent handbook, which details a variety of topics (i.e., attendance, bus/transportation, dress
code/school uniforms, breakfast/lunch, electronic devices, toys, School REACH/Parent Contact).
