Educational Program

- Imagine Academy of Academic Success is a gender-based educational facility serving students from Kindergarten through 8th grade.

- Boys and girls attend their core classes (math, science, social studies, and communication arts) as well as some of their enrichment classes separately.  This instructional approach is based on research proven to enhance the overall quality of learning for both boys and girls in separate educational environments. 

- Our Imagine Schools curriculum includes the core subjects as well as special area classes such as writing, art, music, and physical education.

- Also, we have included additional instruction in technology, reading, writing, math, special education, and character education programs to assist students in their academic and character developmental growth.

- Most importantly, parents and students are collaborative partners in the learning process as they assist in the development and evaluation of student progress through Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) designed to meet specific learning goals to the student’s needs.

- Because we believe that learning and character development does not stop at the end of the school day, Imagine Academy of Academic Success develops a number of extra-curricular activities that are both staff and community-led.  These activities continue into our before and after-care programs as well.

IAAS Curriculum Focus Maps for Kg.-8 Communication Arts and Math
Each month, kindergarten through eighth grade teachers teach specific academic skill sets in communication arts and math as outlined in the MO Grade Level Expectations (GLEs).  In addition, students are tested on their mastery of each concept at the end of each month during the regular school day.  Student scores are used to assist in lesson design (i.e., reteaching).  Please click on each of the Curriculum Focus Maps below to learn of our monthly academic focus for your child(ren).  If you have any questions, please contact your child's teacher.  As always, thanks for supporting your child's learning at IAAS!!!
